  • Became acquainted with collection. Moved boxes and shelves in the Repository to make room for incoming objects in September. 3hours

  • Started reorganizing collection to make space for bones from the Kaplan Hoover bison kill site. 3 hours.

  • Received grant information. Reviewed the Sustaining Cultural Heritage Collections grant and assessed its requirements. 2 hours.

  • Repository closed. Transferred Killdeer information from old excel document onto my computer in preparation for next week. 3 hours.

  • Examined successful SCHC grant applications and made notes of successful strategies. 2.5 hours.

  • Finished moving bison skulls. Still need to clear out rest of old room. 3.5 hours.

  • Emptied the former Kaplan Hoover room. Consolidated everything into collections room. 3.5 hours.

  • Resumed work on Killdeer collection. Transcribed accession information from the original excel document into standard ICMS format. 4 hours.

  • Analyzed successful transcripts. Began keeping extensive list of successes and failures. 4 hours.
